Plot Overview

Set in both the Joseon Dynasty and modern-day South Korea, “Heo's Diner” follows Heo Gyun (played by EXO's Xiumin), a renowned food columnist from the 17th century. After narrowly escaping an assassination attempt, Heo Gyun accidentally time-travels 400 years into the future. In the present day, he encounters Bong Eun-sil (WJSN's Exy), the daughter of a small, signless restaurant owner. Together, they embark on a culinary journey, blending traditional Joseon flavors with contemporary cuisine, while uncovering the mysteries of Heo Gyun's time-slip and their growing bond.
