Hong Eun-hee married actor Yoo Jun-sang on March 1, 2003, during South Korea’s Independence Movement Day. Their wedding, marked by a large South Korean flag and Yoo leading a three-cheer salute, reflected their patriotic spirit. The couple honeymooned at the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, a nod to historical significance. They have two sons, born on December 25, 2003, and April 21, 2009. After taking time off to focus on motherhood, Hong made a triumphant return to the entertainment industry, continuing to captivate audiences with her performances.

Education

Hong Eun-hee pursued her education with a focus on the arts, graduating from Seoul Mok-dong Kookmin School, Garim Middle School, and Gwangmyeong Information Industry High School. She gained prominence with roles in dramas like “Sangdo” (2001-2002) as Hong Mi-Geum and “My Love Patzzi” (2002). Over the years, she has showcased her range in various genres, from historical dramas like “King’s Dream” (2012-2013) as Queen Sundeok to modern comedies like “Revolutionary Sisters” (2021) as Lee Kwang-Nam, for which she won the Excellent Actress Award at the 2021 KBS Drama Awards.Her filmography includes notable movies such as “Project X” (2003), “Horror Stories III” (2016) as Ye-Sun, and “Love Untangled” (2025) as Baek Jang-Mi. She has also made cameo appearances, including in “My Husband Got a Family” (2012) and “Drama Stage: Assistant Manager Park’s Private Life” (2017). Recent drama roles include “Woori The Virgin” (2022) as Oh Eun-Ran and “Less than Evil” (2018-2019) as Kim Hae-Joon. Currently, she is represented by Namoo Actors.
