Harin was born on April 8, 2003, in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Due to her father's job, her family moved between regions including Fukuoka and Saitama before settling in Tokyo. She has a younger sister born in 2005. Harin holds Japanese nationality, stands 167 cm tall, and has blood type A. In 2020, she passed a public audition for Source Music (a label under HYBE) and moved to South Korea to train. She was part of the pre-debut team known as "N Team," which later debuted as the girl group NewJeans. Harin transferred to ADOR and signed a trainee contract there in early 2022, but she was removed from the lineup shortly before the group's debut.
After leaving the trainee system, Harin shifted her focus away from idol activities.
In 2024, Harin signed with ARC Entertainment (also referred to as Liminal or ARC Ent Korea) and began working primarily as a model and actress. She has served as an exclusive model and beauty model for various brands.
